An afternoon treat
A classic English Afternoon Tea at Storrs Hall is an iconic Lake District institution. It’s literally deliciously fun. Much loved by all ages and suitable for any occasion – from baby showers to life celebrations.
Private dining in style

Lunch or dinner with friends and family in one of our private rooms, makes your celebration extra special. A peaceful lakeside location, providing relaxed, quality dining and welcoming hospitality – relax and enjoy your special occasion.
Drawing Room
The original elegant Georgian room, with dual aspect lake views. It can be configured to suit your meeting requirements, or left as a beautiful relaxing space in which to unwind.
The Study
A smaller room adjoining the Drawing Room, also with lake views to the west. It can be arranged for meetings or for private dining.
Reception
The entrance hall leads off to the Drawing Room, Study, and the Restaurant via the striking rotunda. It’s a useful space for a meet and greet.
Restaurant
An elegant, light and airy room opening out to the south facing terraces and lawns. It’s a versatile room when it comes to layouts for both meetings and dining.
Counties Meet
A smaller space adjoining the Restaurant. Suitable for small meetings or private dining, it adds versatility to how you wish to use the spaces.
The Bistro
The second dining space at Storrs, with a small bar area, it is two interconnecting rooms with bold décor.
The Tower Bar
Our striking public bar, housing a recycled Victorian stained glass and mahogany bar from Blackpool Tower. It’s a characterful additional space for your company away day.

Evening buffet
Who’s always surprised that they’re peckish again after the traditional lunch? Plying you with food is our thing, and we lay out a generous buffet dinner in the evening.
Boxing Day dining
Four-course dinner
There’s a light lunch or afternoon tea, to avoid hunger pangs - before a drinks and canapes reception, leading into a four-course dinner.
We say goodbye on the 27th
You can linger longer
The Christmas festivities end on the morning of the 27th after breakfast - though we hope we’ll see you again for Christmas 2025. If you’d like to stay a little longer, talk to us about Twixmas.
