Timings and prices

Please read this policy carefully, as we have a timeline of dates before your arrival that affect you should you need to cancel or change your visit.

The Deposit

Upon booking we will take the first night's stay as a deposit. In the event of a one night stay this will be the full amount of the rate. In the event of multiple rooms being reserved, it will be the first night of each room. The first £100.00 of your deposit is non-refundable. In the case of multiple rooms, this will be £100.00 per room.

Authentication of your card on arrival

Please be aware that the card used to pay for your reservation will need to be presented at check in for a £5.00 Chip and Pin pre-authorisation. This is for financial security reasons, and if the card cannot be provided on check in, we will refund any amount paid to the original card and your new card will be charged and pre-authorised instead.

14 days before arrival

If you cancel more than 14 days prior to arrival, any refundable element of your deposit will be refunded to you within 3–5 working days.

7 Days before arrival

If you cancel with more than 7 days prior to arrival, we will give you the option to postpone your stay once. In this case, we can transfer your refundable deposit towards a new stay within 6 months. This will not include the£100.00 per room non-refundable payment. Please be aware that our rates do fluctuate throughout the year. If you do not have a date to transfer the reservation to, we can hold the remainder of your deposit for you. The 6 month period begins on the date you confirm you wish to postpone, not the original arrival date.

Less than 7 days before arrival

If you cancel less than 7 days prior to arrival, you will be charged the full amount for your stay. In the event we resell the room, we will refund the amount the room was resold for. Refunds cannot be made for rooms that are not occupied for the full period that has been booked.

Travel Insurance

We highly recommend that you take out travel insurance and make the reservation on a Credit Card.

If we need to cancel your stay

If, due to exceptional circumstances, we are forced to cancel your stay, we will contact you as soon as possible and refund your deposit in full. Or offer you alternative accommodation in our sister hotel nearby depending on availability.

Special requests

Whilst every effort is made to fulfil any particular requests which you may make in relation to your stay with us, please note that these requests do not form part of our contract and we cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet any particular requests.

Final payment

Payment for the balance of the cost of your booking should be made prior to departure. Credit facilities are not available unless prior arrangement has been agreed in writing. The final payment must be made on the card used for your pre-authorisation on arrival.

Children in your booking

Children under the age of 12 are welcome in some of our larger rooms, we recommend you speak to the reception team to ensure we can accommodate your family, as due to to nature of our architecture every room is a different size, determining the number of extra beds we can add.

Include all children in your booking

We regret that if you arrive with children which have not been added to your reservation, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation should we be unable to accommodate all family members, and no refunds will be given. Due to fire safety and and insurance regulations we do not have the flexibility to exceed set numbers of guests per room.

Dogs

Regretfully we do not allow dogs in the hotel, except for registered guide dogs.

Special requirements

Please let us know of any special dietary requirements, other requirements, or mobility issues you may have prior to arrival.

About your Privacy

Storrs Hall respects and values your privacy. Your contact details will never be sold to any third party business/company under any circumstances and are used for confirming your booking and any further correspondence regarding your stay. Your email address will be added to our pre and post arrival notification service.
