The Terrace & Lounge
Soak up the sun on our south-facing terrace or cosy up in one of our lounges, both with unrivalled vies of Lake Windermere. Enjoy a charcuterie plate, the famous Storrs Burger, some delicious open sandwiches or a classic cream tea. Food is available on the Terrace until 4.30pm and until 6pm in our lounges.

Lake Edge Restaurant
A restaurant with one of the best lake views to be had. Elegant architecture, and a spectacular location enhance a fixed price menu using quality local produce.

Afternoon Tea
A timeless classic. A perfectly presented Afternoon Tea, with finger sandwiches, buttermilk scones with scoops of jam and clotted cream, plus home made sweet treats.

Sunday lunch
Another British tradition – we provide a proper 3 course roast lunch, with dry-aged Cumbrian beef from local farms, plus all the trimmings, as the star dish.
Dietary Requirements
We take food intolerances and allergies seriously and can accommodate most health or dietary needs with 48 hours' notice. Please inform us when booking.
Please note that our kitchen uses ingredients containing allergens and shared equipment for different foods. While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee any dish is completely allergen-free due to potential cross-contamination in our limited kitchen space.
Unfortunately, if your allergy is severe or if you are at risk of anaphylactic shock we cannot accommodate your requirements as we cannot ensure zero cross-contamination. We apologize for any disappointment.
