The most spacious bedrooms at Storrs Hall benefit from glorious views of Lake Windermere. Georgian and Victorian architecture has inspired stylish individuality and character.

Bathrooms

Beautifully appointed with baths, walk-in showers and dual sinks. Premium toiletries, dressing gowns and slippers supplied. Rooms 5 and 35 have double showers.

Each is individually decorated, featuring antique furniture with contemporary touches.

Super King size beds, and sumptuously upholstered seating with plump cushions in all Deluxe lakeview rooms.

Room refreshments

Complimentary facilities to make hot drinks, bottled water, and biscuits – all replenished daily.

Lakeviews

Each of these bedrooms benefits from views over Windermere, England’s largest lake, either to the South or to the West. Room 5 has both.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and public spaces.

TVs

All rooms have TVs, some have smart TVs - you will need your account passwords to enable your required viewing.

Air conditioning

These rooms do not have air-conditioning.

Deluxe Lakeview Rooms

Room 3

Restful tones of green and cream, with views taking in miles of Lake Windermere. The internal bathroom has dual sinks, a walk-in shower and a TV above the bath.

Room 5

An expansive room with a dressing area, striking antique furniture and contemporary touches; plus dual-aspect lake views. Luxurious and restful bathroom, with a freestanding copper bath reflecting a Himalayan Salt panel.

Room 6

Decorated in florals and plaid, furnished with antiques, and facing the lake on our West shore down to the jetty, Room 6 is luxuriously comfy and cocooning.

Room 35

Subtly luxurious in greys with touches of gold, Room 35 has a freestanding slipper bath recessed in an alcove, plus a bathroom with shower. Plushly comfortable seating completes the cosseting feel.

  1. Are the Deluxe Lakeview Rooms family-friendly?

    R3 can accommodate a cot, which we can supply if required.

  2. Do these rooms split into twin beds?

    R3 can be provided as a twin bedroom.

  3. What floors are these rooms on?

    R3, R5, R6 are on the first floor, R35 is on the second floor.

  4. Is there a lift at Storrs Hall?

    Due to the Grade II* Listing of Storrs Hall we are not permitted install a lift, however we are happy to help you with your luggage.

  5. Do you provide room service?

    We do, with a charge of £5 per tray. The Lounge Menu is available 12.30pm - 6pm, then room service is available from The Bistro Menu until 8.45pm.

  6. Are pets allowed?

    Regretfully pets are not allowed at Storrs, we do accept registered Guide Dogs.
