Stone tiled with a walk-in shower, freestanding bath with Aquavision TV, and complimentary toiletries. Plus dressing gowns, towels, and slippers.

Courtyard setting

Just a few metres from the main house enjoying total privacy. Each suite has its own lobby access with storage.

Private terraces

Dressed in lakeland stone, furnished with loungers and dining furniture, plus a Japanese-style cedar hot tub.

Breakfast

The Lakeside Suites offer a room service, and a two-course breakfast service.

Style

Soothingly decorated in tones of cream and green, with a thoughtfully considered use of natural materials and finishes.

Interconnecting and access

Osprey and Kingfisher interconnect; as do Tern and Teal. Tern and Teal are suitable for guests with limited mobility.

Wi-Fi

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and public spaces.

TVs

All rooms have TVs, some have smart TVs - you will need your account passwords to enable your required viewing.

Lakeview lakeside Hot Tub Suites

Kingfisher

Sitting opposite the jetty, this is a dual aspect suite with one of the largest terraces. Sliding glass doors on two sides make the most of the lake Windermere views.

Swan

One of the largest of these luxurious rooms in the suites, facing directly West across lake Windermere. There’s plenty of room to spread out, relax, and enjoy the views.

Mallard

Enjoying the same advantages of its neighbour, having the largest interior space - seamlessly merging with the beautiful views beyond the windows. Providing unstinting indulgent comfort.

Tern

A spacious dual aspect corner suite, enjoying one of the largest terraces, wrapped around, to take advantage of lakeviews up to the central mountains. Large windows bring the outdoors inside.

Osprey

Utterly secluded and private, facing out into a wild garden and evergreens. The open plan suite embraces the outdoors via huge sliding doors, delivering contemporary comfort and luxury.

Teal

A luxuriously appointed open plan space facing out into open wild gardens, with large glazed walls bringing the outside in – providing indulgent creature comforts for your relaxation.

  1. Can the Lakeside Suites accommodate children?

    The Lakeside Suites are adult-only.

  2. Are they pet-friendly?

    Storrs Hall is a pet-free hotel, excepting registered Guide Dogs. Dogs are not permitted in the Lakeside Suites.

  3. Can the beds be twinned?

    The beds are super king-sized and cannot be separated into twin beds.

  4. Is there Wi-Fi?

    All rooms and public spaces have free Wi-Fi.

  5. How far away from the hotel are the suites?

    They are opposite the front door of the main house, about 50m at their nearest. Surrounded by ornamental woodland and wild gardens for complete privacy.

  6. Is there car parking?

    Storrs has plenty of free, private parking nearby. There is parking near Tern and Teal for guests with limited mobility.

  7. Do they have Smart TVs?

    Yes they do, you will need your account logins to access your favourite services.

  8. Do you provide room service?

    Yes, with a charge of £5 per tray. The Lounge Menu is available from 12.30 – 6pm, then The Bistro Menu from 6pm – 8.45pm. Room service breakfast does not have a tray charge.
